Ropinirolul este utilizat pentru tratarea simptomelor bolii Parkinson și sindromului moderat până la sever al picioarelor neliniștite.

Efectele secundare frecvente includ greață, ameală, somnolență și durere de cap; unii pacienți pot experimenta halucinații sau atacuri de somn bruscă.
Luați ropinirolul o dată pe zi cu sau fără mâncare, înghițind tabletele întregi; începeți cu 2 mg zilnic și măriți cu 2 mg săptămânal după cum este tolerat, până la o dată maximă de 24 mg zilnic; reduceți treptat dacă opriți.
